With Bayern Munich still looking for a new goalkeeper, it seems they have set eyes on Brentford star David Raya.

According to a fresh report from Fussball Transfers journalist Dominik Schneider, the Bundesliga side are looking to sign the 27-year-old on a loan deal.

The problem is that Raya himself isn’t on board with that kind of operation. He ‘rejects’ this possibility, as he ‘wants to leave permanently’ this summer.

It’s claimed that in case a sale doesn’t take place in this transfer window, then the goalkeeper has as a ‘serious option’ of a free departure next year.

Bayern Munich would also probably have some problems to find a deal with Brentford, because according to Schneider, the Bees’ request for the permanent move is of €47m.

The Bundesliga side are currently in advanced talks with Inter Milan for the transfer of Yann Sommer, and keep looking for someone who can be Manuel Neuer’s partner.

David Raya had been linked to several clubs this summer, but with Brentford not letting him go easily, this seems to be one more option that will soon be ruled out unless something drastic changes.
