It’s time for the Brazilian press to confirm Liverpool are interested in signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

After a few reports coming from Italy, there’s now some information coming from the player’s home country, with Jurgen Klopp’s intentions being reported by the reliable website UOL today.

According to the outlet, Kopp’s technical staff have Alisson as ‘one of the favourite’ targets on their list. But only for the summer market.

Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius would both be disappointing those in charge at Liverpool, and that’s why the club feels like they should go for another goalkeeper at the end of the season.

UOL makes it clear the interest is at a very initial stage, so there’s no information on talks or a possible bid for the Brazilian.

Alisson’s agent has recently spoken to the Italian press saying he had no contact from Liverpool, and insisted the player is ‘very happy’ at Roma.
