Willian’s staff continues to deny any type of agreement between the Chelsea player and Tottenham Hotspur.

Following the stories saying there was a deal for the 31-year-old to join Spurs, it was first ESPN Brasil journalist João Castello Branco who said the player’s entourage had dismissed it.

Now it’s time for two other Brazilian outlets to say the same. The first one is UOL, who also managed to speak to Willian’s staff.

They’ve been told that there have been no approaches or offers from Tottenham. It’s said the player has never spoken to Mourinho about this move, and hasn’t even talked to him recently.

The reported meeting between the two to of them is labelled as ‘technically impossible’, since Willian has been in quarantine since March, and spent a long time in Brazil.

Outlet Esporte Interativo brings a similar story, also denying any type of deal, but which contradicts UOL’s version a little.

They claim that Willian and José Mourinho are friends, and therefore they speak frequently. However, a move to Tottenham Hotspur has never been mentioned in their conversations.
