AFC Bournemouth forward Luis Sinisterra is getting targeted by some criticism in the Colombian media today.

The reason is an attacking play in the match against Chile on Tuesday evening. He first missed the ball when trying to score, and when getting the rebound, he seemed to lack confidence to try again and decided to try a pass, which was easily intercepted by the defence.

Colombia drew 0-0 against Chile, and as Fanaticos features a story on Sinisterra, they basically blame him for the Cafetero’s ‘failure to win’.

The outlet has a full story just about that ‘blunder’ and points out that the number nine shirt ended up seeming too heavy for the Bournemouth player.

Fanaticos highlighted how disappointed Colombia’s bench were with Sinisterra’s missed chance, explaining he’s now ‘one of the focuses’ of the criticism towards their performance.

The story goes heavy on the striker, claiming his mistakes were part of the reason behind Leeds United’s relegation, and claiming he probably shouldn’t have worn the shirt which previously belonged to Radamel Falcao.

Loaned to Bournemouth until the end of the season, Sinisterra is still to make his debut for the Cherries.
