Bournemouth, Brentford and Leicester City are reportedly three of the clubs in the race for Rennes defender Loic Bade.

The chase is today revealed by French outlet Foot Mercato, who claim that even this late in the transfer window, several clubs are interested in signing the 22-year-old.

One of them is Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, and they’re followed by the Premier League’s Bournemouth, Brentford and Leicester City.

Foot Mercato makes it clear that after spending €20m to sign Bade from Lens last summer, Rennes are not interested in seeing him go now. Still, with multiple clubs now keen on the signing, it’s said it ‘remains to be seen’ whether the Ligue 1 side will change their stance ‘in the coming hours’.

The report points out that Tottenham Hotspur loanee Joe Rondon has been having ‘disappointing performances’, so that could be one more reason to keep the French player this summer.

For now, there’s no information on how much Bournemouth, Brentford or Leicester City would like to pay for Bade, who’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €12m.
