Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pepe Matar Sarr is leaving the club on a new loan, according to the latest claims from Italy.

Outlet Tutto Mercato Web today writes that Serie A side Cremonese reached an agreement with Spurs for the ‘temporary acquisition’ of the 19-year-old.

With the website just breaking the news, there’s still no information on whether the Italian club will pay a fee for the loan, or if they’d have an option to buy the player at the end of the period.

Tottenham spent €16.9m to sign Sarr from Metz last summer, and due to his young age, decided to let him stay at the French side to gain more experience during the season.

The midfielder managed to have regular playing time in Ligue 1, with 33 appearances, and returned to Spurs this summer.

He even made it to the bench in the match against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, but it seems Antonio Conte doesn’t consider him to be ready to be part of the squad this season, so the youngster now moves to Italy and works to continue with his improvement.
