It’s been a long summer for Juventus midfielder Arthur, who’s been at the club’s exit door for months and still hasn’t been able to find a new side to play for.

Now in the final week of the transfer window, it seems a new possibility opens up for him. That’s a move to Everton, according to the latest claims from the Italian media.

Tutto Mercato Web today writes that these are ‘decisive hours’ for Arthur’s departure from Juventus, with the Old Lady ‘working to define his exit’ so they can bring Leandro Paredes to the club.

Two sides are said to be in contacts with the Bianconeri right now. Those are Sporting, who’d already been linked to him over the weekend, and Everton.

The story claims the Toffees are looking for a central midfielder and are currently in negotiations with Juventus.

Both Everton and Sporting are said to be negotiating to have Arthur on a loan deal. For now, Tutto Mercato Web doesn’t say if either of the two clubs would have an advantage in the race.
