Ibrahim Sangaré may be long gone from PSV following his move to Nottingham Forest this summer, but his name is still a subject at the Eredivisie club.

The midfielder was today mentioned by club manager Peter Bosz in a press conference, relayed by Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad.

The coach had been speaking about the changes in his team in this start of the season, and ended up recalling the qualities that Sangaré used to bring to his side, with ED explaining the manager rated the midfielder’s ‘insane physical presence’..

“He is big and strong, was in between everything with his body. But sometimes someone ran away from his back. Now we have other midfielders, with Jerdy Schouten, for example, doing more on insight,” Bosz told Eindhovens Dagblad.

Sangaré had even made seven appearances for PSV at the start of this season before Nottingham Forest showed up with the money to sign him on deadline day.

The Tricky Trees spent €35m to take him from the Dutch side, and it didn’t take long for them to include him in their starting team.

Sangaré played for 90 minutes in the match against Burnley last weekend, and that’s a pretty good sign that Steve Cooper counts on him to be an important player for the Reds this season.

The midfielder signed a contract which runs until 2028.
