It was this week that AC Milan were named as one of the clubs who are interested in the signing of Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez.
The claims first came from the French media, then from the Italian press, with both saying the winger has become a big objective for the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window following reports the club was about to change owners.
Since this is undoubtedly an exciting rumour for the market, the subject was approached today in CMIT TV’s interview with intermediary Ivan Reggiani.
The official answered to several questions about potential moves in the next window, and when quizzed about Mahrez, he made it clear that Milan could have a chance of taking the player from Manchester City.
“Milan can buy anyone, everyone would like to play with them regardless, everyone says yes to Milan. Of all the players I’ve had, everyone to Milan said yes,” Reggiani told CMIT TV.
With Manchester City currently fighting for the Premier League and the Champions League titles, it still sound a little strange that any club in the world would take their players that easily.
Still, with Milan being an European giant and on course to winning Serie A, we now see big confidence coming from Italy regarding that possibility.
