On November 29th, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Chelsea and Arsenal have a ‘strong interest’ in AS Roma Cengiz Under, but claimed the winger will not come for cheap.

Another Italian outlet Calciomercato also relays the same information and mentions the two clubs from the English capital are looking at the player.

They further go on to mention the Gunners ‘want’ the 21-year-old, but the north London club have not taken ‘concrete steps’ to secure his services.

It is claimed in the report the Premier League side will continue to monitor the Turkish wideman, who is ‘perfect’ for Unai Emery’s system.

Roma director of football Monchi aims to keep hold of the player until the end of the season, and the Serie A outfit would only be open to the idea of sanctioning Under’s sale in January for a particularly lucrative offer.

The Roma forward could be a good addition at the Emirates, if Arsenal are willing to convert their interest into an offer.

Under has three goals and four assists to his name from 15 appearances in all competitions
