AC Milan initially signed Franck Kessie on a two-year loan deal from Atalanta in 2017. They had an obligation to make the transfer permanent, which happened this summer.

According to Calciomercato, the Serie A side will sanction the midfielder’s sale if they receive a good offer. Milan’s leaders have slapped a €40m asking price on the Ivory Coast international.

It’s claimed that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are the clubs who like the 22-year-old.

However, none have gone beyond making initial surveys and enquiries.

With the transfer window in England set to close on August 8th, it looks unlikely any of the aforementioned Premier Leagues clubs will make an approach for Kessie.

Spurs have completed the signing of Tanguy Ndombele and have been linked with Real Betis’ Giovani Lo Celso and Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes.

Everton signed Andre Gomes on a permanent transfer and later added Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin to their squad.

This feels like Calciomercato just throwing names out there.
