According to Sdna.Gr, Panathinaikos are pushing hard to convince Celtic midfielder Kouassi Eboue to join the club on a season long loan deal.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered reports from Greece that the Greens are interested in signing the Ivorian, as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.

Sdna.Gr reports their sporting director Nikos Dabizas is a big fan of the Celtic player and believes the 21 year old will solve their problems in midfield.

Along with Dabizas, Panathinaikos manager Giorgos Donis has also given the green light to sign the Celtic player and more concrete developments are expected to happen in the coming days.

Since joining the Scottish Premiership champions, Eboue has struggled to get games, under both Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon.

After rupturing a cruciate knee ligament in October, Eboue was ruled out for more than 8 months but it seems the youngster is ready to kickstart his career.

Sdna.Gr say if Pana manage to sign Eboue this could be a fresh start for the young midfielder.
