According to a claim in the Italian media, the agent of Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has met with the Serie A club’s sporting director Fabio Paratici to discuss Manchester City’s intentions to sign his client.

Pjanic has been linked with the Premier League champions in the past week after they lost out to Chelsea for Napoli’s Jorginho.

Yesterday we covered claims from the Italian press that Pjanic’s agent Fali Ramadani has been offering the player to other major clubs in Europe, including Manchester City.

Calciomercato have now reported on what they say are the latest developments over the future of Pjanic at Juventus.

It’s now claimed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is ready to enter the scene for the Juventus star and the Premier League club are preparing a ‘mega offer’, which could start at €100m.

Juventus are keen to keep Pjanic at the club, but could still be tempted with such offers.

Despite repeat denials by people close to the English club, the Italian media won’t let go of this one.
