Robin van Persie has been linked with a return to the Premier League after his one year stay at Fenerbahce.
Everton, West Ham, and Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing him, but nothing has materialised yet.
According to AMK Spor in Turkey, Stoke City are interested in the services of the Dutchman. Fenerbahce have set a final price tag of €6m on Van Persie, but Stoke City haven’t submitted an offer yet.
Van Persie’s agent, Kees Vos, has already met Stoke City to hold negotiations and find a middle ground.
Earlier, reports have suggested Van Persie’s relationship with Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira is not very good, and he wants out of the club.
The 33-year-old scored 22 goals in all competitions last season, and has another couple of years left on his contract at the Turkish club.
Signing the former Arsenal and Manchester United player could a be a great move for a club prepared to take a gamble.
