After his move to West Bromwich Albion failed in the summer, Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza has again been linked with a move to the Premier League side.
FutbolArena report West Brom are ‘back in’ for the player, and the Baggies can land the Brazilian for €12m.
The 28 year old was very keen to join the Premier League side and there were claims he even cried in front of Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim over the West Brom move.
De Souza was on the verge of a move to the Hawthorns, but West Brom instead loaned Gregorz Krychowiak from French giants PSG.
De Souza has impressed for Fenerbahce this season, and Futbol Arena say there are two to three Premier League clubs showing an interest in the player. The player is starting to become a favourite with the Fenerbahce faithful after his difficulties in the last campaign when he came in for flak.
His move to West Brom may now depend on Tony Pulis’ future with the club, after recent claims his job is under threat.
