Sporx claim Leicester City and Newcastle United are showing an interest in Galatasaray’s Badou Ndiaye, with it stated both sides are ‘hooked’ on the midfielder.

The Senegalese international midfielder was a target for both Newcastle United and West Ham United in the summer when he was playing for Osmanlispor, but the 26 year old opted to join Galatasaray.

Ndiaye has impressed for Galatasaray this season, and his performances have, according to Turkish claims, put some Premier League clubs on alert, including Leicester City and Newcastle United.

The Turkish newspaper report Galatasaray would be looking for offers in the region of €15-20m for any club interested in signing the central midfielder.

Galatasaray signed Ndiaye for just €7.5m in the last window despite the interest from English clubs, and the club’s board might be tempted to sell the player for the right price.

However, Newcastle United and Leicester City may have to wait until next summer as Sporx say Galatasaray don’t want to let him go halfway through the season.
