Maxi Oyedele is set to leave Manchester United for Legia Warsaw this summer.

That’s according to Meczyki.pl, who state the Polish club are finalising a deal for the 19-year-old.

The youngster is a product of Manchester United’s system but hasn’t had an opportunity to represent the first team.

Erik ten Hag included the midfielder in his pre-season squad this summer. The report says he was preparing to be part of Manchester United’s first team, but that won’t happen anymore.

Legia Warsaw appear to have agreed a deal with the Premier League side for the England-born Poland U21 international.

The report says Manchester United will receive a low fee and get a high percentage from a future sale. There are no figures mentioned for both the price and the percentage.

It’s claimed Oyedele will undergo medical tests and sign the contract with the Polish club in the ‘coming days’.

The teenager joined Manchester United’s academy in 2012. During his time there, he had two loan spells at Altrincham and Forest Green Rovers in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Oyedele should soon complete his exit from the Premier League side.
