However, some Leeds fans aren’t impressed by Jansson’s continued links with Malmo, believing he should be fully focused on his current club.
Swedish newspaper Expressen say: ‘Jansson has been diligent on social media to show his love for Malmo FF, which is sometimes criticised by Leeds supporters who believe that he should have full focus on the Championship side.’
In response, Jansson is quoted as saying: “It’s just pure bulls**t. I have full focus when I play in Leeds and then I love Malmo alongside it. It cannot change, so they can think what they want.”
There doesn’t seem to be a great deal of hassle sent the way of Jansson via social media, but it’s certainly caught the imagination in Sweden, and it’s not something which the Leeds United star is going to let bother him one bit.
