Genki Haraguchi has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League over the past few weeks.

The Hertha Berlin player is said to be very keen to play football in England, and that’s something which has been reiterated several times in the German sport media since the beginning of the month.

The player’s dream is to test himself in the Premier League, and whilst the reports of a possible move to England this summer have been frequent, there’s been one thing missing.

It’s a rather important missing aspect… the buying club.

Haraguchi can have as many English wishes as he wants, but if it’s not reciprocal then it’s a waste of time.

Now we finally have a club. Hallelujah!

Newly promoted Brighton and Hove Albion are the potential destination, according to Germany’s Kicker. Haraguchi is said to be ‘in promising negotiations’ with Brighton about a move to work with Chris Hughton.

Haraguchi is an attacking midfielder and has contributed 1 goal and 2 assists in the Bundesliga this season, Brighton would surely hope he’s capable of more.

So, Haraguchi has found his potential English destination in Brighton, and now has to convince Hughton and the club it’s a good idea.
