Jefferson Lerma has told the Colombian media that he and his family are happy with life at Crystal Palace.
In the past week the defensive midfielder has been linked with move to Fenerbahce following reports they are looking to open transfer talks with the player.
Speaking to El Colombiano, the 29-year-old was asked about his future after impressing in this summer’s Copa America. Lerma stressed that he still has a long contract with the Eagles and that he’s enjoying his time with the club.
Earlier today we covered reports from Turkey that Fenerbahce’s sporting director plans to travel to England this week to hold transfer talks for the Colombia international. Fener and their manager Jose Mourinho are looking to bring in a central midfielder this summer.
However, Lerma recently spoke to the Colombian press and played down these rumours when he insisted he hadn’t heard of the Super Lig side’s interest.
Lerma is contracted to the Premier League side until June 2026, with the option to extend for another year.
