RB Leipzig are yet to work out how many Celtic fans will be in attendance for their clash tomorrow, as they gear up for another Scottish invasion after Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers took over last year.
Ange Postecoglou’s side travel to German for matchday three of Group F tomorrow looking to add to their solitary point so far.
RB Live cover the meeting today, explaining that Celtic fans ‘want to celebrate’ in Leipzig city centre during their trip to Germany.
That saw 7,000 Rangers fans descend on the city and many of them ‘marched peacefully’ to the stadium on match day, accompanied by a massive police presence.
Whether Celtic will be able to match those numbers still remains to be seen, with Leipzig having sold 3,000 tickets to their opponents so far but some still up for sale today.
It’s unclear if the game will be sold out.
Either way, it’s believed the ‘enthusiastic supporters’ from Celtic should ensure a good atmosphere, just as rivals Rangers did last season.
