André Zambo Anguissa’s season for Fulham seems to be drawing quite a bit of attention from overseas, as his transfer is now suggested in the Italian media.
Radio Marte features an interview with former Napoli midfielder Salvatore Bagni, who’s spoken about the club’s transfer market and what they should do to improve their team.
And it turns out that when asked about signings who could add something to the midfield, he’s named the Fulham player, mentioning the qualities he could bring to the squad.
”He has more dynamism and is much faster than Bakayoko. He has a lot of legs and is definitely superior. With him, Napoli would improve in midfield,” Salvatore Bagni told Radio Marte (via Napoli Piu).
Anguissa has indeed been linked with a move to Serie A this transfer season. But instead of Napoli, it was actually Milan who were said to be interested in the player last month.
It’s been claimed by the Italian media that his agent offered the player to the Rossoneri. However, Fulham are ‘not willing to grant any discounts’ in case of a move, and will play hard in case the negotiations start.
