Napoli are still not convinced they will sell Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea, according to reports from Italy.

Thursday’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport describes Chelsea’s €45m offer as “indecent”, so despite the desire of keeping the player, that’s what is making the Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis consider the bid.

Napoli would be thinking of signing the alleged Arsenal target Shkodran Mustafi to replace the Frenchman, but the priority is really to keep him.

Koulibaly has been linked with a Premier League move for a while, especially after Louis van Gaal reportedly tried to sign him last winter. However, since Antonio Conte’s arrival, Chelsea’s interest got stronger, and this €45m shows they are really going for it.

Everton have also been linked, but there’s little doubt at this stage that Chelsea are the most interested… at least according to the Italian media.
