Wolves are once again keen on Corinthians forward Yuri Alberto, according to a report from Brazilian outlet BolaVip.
The English club, managed by Vítor Pereira, is said to be following the 24-year-old closely. No formal offer has been made so far.
BolaVip claim Pereira has personally requested the signing as Wolves continue to struggle in the Premier League. They sit bottom of the table with just two points from seven matches.
The Portuguese coach worked with Yuri Alberto during his spell at Corinthians and reportedly sees him as a player capable of adding goals and intensity to the side.
Despite a recent missed penalty in the defeat to Flamengo, Yuri Alberto remains a key figure at Corinthians. He has 15 goals and two assists in 45 appearances this season.
The report highlights that European clubs have been keeping tabs on him regularly, given his age and consistent output in Brazil.
It’s also recalled that Wolves already tried to sign the striker in January 2024. They proposed a loan deal with an option to buy for around €15m, but the Brazilian club rejected the approach.
For now, the English side are merely monitoring his situation, though a move could be revisited if circumstances align.
Whether Wolverhampton will return with a new offer remains uncertain, but the link adds another chapter to the striker’s recurring presence on the radar of European clubs.
