You all know the story of how Tolu Arokodare left Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer. We don’t need to repeat that story again.

The striker joined Ajax on loan in the summer transfer window, and he’s been impressive ever since. With six goals and two assists in nine games to date, the positives have been plentiful.

There’s also been positives off the pitch. For instance, Sport Witness reported on how the 25-year-old Wolves loanee had been winning fans over by being the nicest guy in the world last month.

Now he’s receiving his plaudits for his performances on the pitch too. One man who has been watching closely is PSV Eindhoven manager Peter Bosz.

Manager praise

He’s been talking about PSV Eredivisie rivals to De Telegraaf this week. And it seems he’s been left very impressed by the Wolves striker so far.

“You can see that Ajax has strengthened significantly. They’ve focused on experience. A number of those players are performing very well,” he said.

“They’ve brought in a big striker,” he continued, referring to the Nigerian forward. Arokodare scored against his side earlier this season in a 3-1 win for PSV.

“That’s something we don’t really see in the Netherlands,” he concluded.

Transfer option

Wolves

The question now is whether Arokodare can continue the rest of the season how he’s started it.

If he can, comments like these from Bosz are sure to become a regular thing from fans and journalists alike.

That is something that Wolves are surely hoping for. Ajax have an option to buy included in he deal and them deciding to activate that clause would surely be the best option for all parties. Nobody wants to see the striker heading back to Molineux, that’s for sure.

For now, the focus will be on building on an impressive start and impressing more people like Bosz.
