On Friday, Venê Casagrande and Globo Esporte reported the Reds had made €20m bid for the 24-year-old striker. Later that day, Globo stated the Brazilian club received an offer from Nottingham Forest for Jair Cunha.
Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola then stated Nottingham Forest want to sign the trio and were working to close all three deals in the coming days.

The South American club are ‘close to finalising’ the trio’s sales to Nuno Espírito Santo’s side. They have already carried out negotiations for Igor Jesus and now made advances for two of his teammates.
Globo state negotiations have progressed well between the parties in the ‘last few hours’.
As with Igor Jesus, the report adds ‘details are still missing’ to finalise the three players’ sale to the English club. They make it clear the striker, defender and Cuiabano will only be moving to Nottingham Forest after the Club World Cup that’ll take place between June 14th and July 13th.
