FC Inter News want everyone to know that Achraf Hakimi won’t be leaving Inter Milan in the summer window, despite Arsenal making genuine efforts to sign the right sided player.

Hakimi came through the ranks at Real Madrid, before moving on a prolonged loan to Borussia Dortmund in 2018. It had been thought he’d stay with the Bundesliga club longer, and then Inter Milan swooped in and agreed a deal in July 2020.

During his first season with the Italian club, Hakimi has made 37 appearances, contributing six goals and seven assists. He’s been playing more advanced than previously in his career, on the right side of midfield.

FC Inter News state Arsenal have made a ‘real attempt’ to snatch the 22-year-old away from Inter, yet it’s not thought the Gunners have much chance of success.

Whilst ‘London calls’, Hakimi and his club refuse to pay much attention, with each party wanting to continue with the other beyond the current campaign.

So, as far as the report has it, the interest is there but Mikel Arteta will have to look elsewhere.
