Federico Chiesa’s situation at Liverpool is uncertain once again and several clubs have been given a chance to sign him.
The winger wasn’t part of the Reds’ squad for their 2-2 draw against Newcastle United at the weekend. In the 2025/26 campaign, he played a little over 300 minutes in the Premier League and found no favours under Arne Slot.
Earlier this summer, Sport Witness covered that the player was still keen on proving himself at Liverpool. He saw Slot’s exit as a chance to turn things around.
Now, there could be a u-turn from those around the winger.
Player being offered around
ASRomaLive report that with Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye likely to end up at Liverpool, the Italian’s future is uncertain.
This has led to the player now being offered to Roma, Inter Milan and Atalanta.
He has now become a possible option for the Giallorossi. While Malick Fofana and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens are Roma’s main targets, Chiesa is a possible alternative.
Director Tony D’Amico has ‘memorised the situation’ of the Liverpool player. A move for him would only go through if Chiesa agrees to a wage cut and the Reds are open to a loan.

Luis Henrique’s future at the Nerazzurri is currently uncertain. If he leaves, Inter would be a wide player short and Chiesa would then become an option.

In the past, it has been clear that Chiesa has never pushed for an exit from Liverpool. That is probably why he has not left the club and no Italian side has pushed for a deal either.
His intentions will be key this summer too. Liverpool clearly have no real use for him.
Clubs in Italy can offer European football and regular minutes in the Serie A. However, all of it comes down to whether Chiesa really wants to ask for a transfer or not.
