Real Madrid have included Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister in their list for the summer window.

That’s according to Marca and journalist José Félix Díaz covers Los Blancos interest in the midfielder.

The Argentina international has been a regular since joining Liverpool from Brighton & Hove Albion in June 2023.

Real Madrid are aiming to make big-money signings and also looking at players with contracts expiring in 2025 and 2026. Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté fits into the latter category.

The centre-back’s contract expires in 2026 and he hasn’t yet agreed an extension with the Reds. The La Liga side are looking at him as they work to strengthen their defence for next season.

Mac Allister’s contract lasts until 2028 and Real Madrid are internally evaluating his name for the midfield. Due to the 26-year-old’s contract situation at Liverpool, the Champions League winners would have to invest big to secure his services.

The Spanish giants are only considering/analysing the World Cup winner’s name. They haven’t planned to make advances so far as part of the big-money signings.

Last week, Mac Allister’s father, Carlos, predicted a Liverpool stay for him.

José Félix Díaz reports it’s caused surprise at Real Madrid that Carlos mentions this at a time when the player is not even a firm target.

‘Coincidence or just letting himself be wanted for the sake of it? At the moment, he’s just another one of those being talked about in planning meetings for what’s to come,’ he states.

Either way, Carlos’ comments and Mac Allister’s contract won’t make it easy for Real Madrid to snatch the player from Liverpool.
