With reports this week claiming that Arsenal are making an attempt to sign Marcos Leonardo from Santos, the Brazilian media is paying attention to that story.
It’s been claimed that the Gunners currently prepare a €17m offer to get the centre-forward signed in January.
Journalist André Hernan, on Wednesday evening, brought some transfer news on Youtube, and Arsenal’s chase for Marcos Leonardo was one of the subjects.
The information highlighted by the reporter is that there’s a big agent working to get the striker moved in the January transfer window.
That’s Rafaela Pimenta, who used to work with Mino Raiola and represents a list of big players. Even though she’s been labelled as Marcos Leonardo’s agent, it’s said she actually has a partnership with his representatives to get a deal done in the coming weeks. That contract is only valid for a winter sale.
As said by Hernan, that means she’ll do everything possible to get this deal sealed in January, regardless of who could be buying the striker.
The journalist doesn’t bring any further info on Arsenal possibly coming for him. The Gunners have been pointed out as one of the many interested sides, along with Manchester United and Newcastle United.
