Liverpool have made the decision to bring youngster Fabian Mrozek back from a loan spell at Brommapojkarna as they now have different plans for him.
That’s according to Fotboll Direkt, who report that the 21-year-old will be returning to Liverpool at the end of the year.
They explain that Brommapojkarna have had something of a problem with their goalkeeping department for some time, with Lucas Bergström and Filip Sidklev leaving in the summer and leaving a hole to be filled.
That was done by signing Mrozek on loan from Liverpool, with the ‘promising Polish talent’ thrown in directly against IFK Goteborg and seemingly earning trust from the management.
However, he only lasted for five games and has since been replaced by Lucas Hägg-Johansson, who is now first choice.
That’s led Liverpool to make the decision to recall their player and Brommapojkarna will put up no complaints on that front. They don’t want the player and are happy for him to depart.
There has been no dialogue between the two sides about an extension to his loan deal and he will return to Anfield in January unless there is a major change.
After that, Mrozek will hold talks with Liverpool about the future. It will then be decided if he is to go out on loan again or take a different course.
