The story doesn’t add many details, as it only says that the loan would be from January to June, with no figures mentioned.
With only eight appearances this season, the Dutchman has clearly failed to impress José Mourinho since the manager’s arrival.
The 22-year-old has a contract until 2019, so there’s plenty of time for Manchester United to try to recover his good form before trying to use him again or even sell him permanently.
Most of reports from England have been saying that the player is closer to an Everton move, so a transfer to France would really come as a surprise.
It would be a great partnership with Mario Balotelli, though.
