Besiktas will sit down with Leicester City for a second time this week to sort out a deal for Rachid Ghezzal.

That’s according to Milliyet, who say interest from other clubs in Turkey has convinced Besiktas to sort out a permanent deal sooner rather than later.

They report that, after an impressive season from Ghezzal, who joined on loan from Leicester in the summer, Besiktas are keen to make his move a permanent one.

The club had been planning to wait until the end of the season, but after learning about interest from other clubs in the Super Lig, they’ve now decided to ‘solve Ghezzal’s testimonial problem’ before then.

Thus, they have started ‘official negotiations’ with Leicester over a fee and will hold a second meeting with them ‘in the coming days’.

The Foxes are said to be keen to get rid of Ghezzal, who has a year left on his contract at the club and are ‘open to bargaining’ on the issue.

The player is also keen to make a move and continue his career with Besiktas, having been ‘almost reborn’ with them this season.

Therefore everything is in place for an agreement to be reached quickly and easily, but, as always, it will all come down to the price.
