Manchester City have become the latest Premier League side to enter the chase for Leeds United’s Raphinha.

The winger arrived at Elland Road in the final stages of the last summer window and has impressed in his debut season in England, scoring six goals and adding six assists in 26 league matches.

His overall performances for the Whites have reportedly caught the attention of other English clubs, particularly Manchester United and Liverpool.

In the first week of February, France Football explained the 24-year-old is ‘high on list of Liverpool scouts’.

Later that month, Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari reported Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are interested in the Brazilian.

Longari, who works for Sportsitalia, now reports the Citizens ‘join the race’ for Raphinha.

Pep Guardiola’s side will face competition from Manchester United and Liverpool, since the latter two are ‘still interested’ in the former Rennes man.

‘Nothing decided yet,’ says the journalist, because Marcelo Bielsa’s side ‘want to keep him’ beyond this season.
