Last month, La Razón reported Wolverhampton Wanderers have joined Nottingham Forest in the chase for Barcelona’s Abde Ezzalzouli.

The winger is on loan at CA Osasuna and has managed five goals and two assists from 26 games this season. His displays have aroused interest from several clubs.

That’s according to Sport, who say there’s one club that stands above the rest and its Wolves.

It’s claimed Julen Lopetegui’s side are ‘crazy’ to secure the 21-year-old’s services in the summer and have made the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, aware of this.

The Premier League club are looking for a wideman and are of the belief the Morocco international’s profile fits the requirements.

Atlético Madrid are ‘pressing hard’ to sign Abde and Wolves have to be wary of this. Diego Simeone likes him a lot and has contacted his environment to know the attacker’s position over a potential move.

Barca, for their part, need to raise funds to improve their financial conditions. Therefore, they have included Abde in their list of ‘transferable’ players.

The winger is determined to play for the Catalan club next season, so Wolves will have to convince Abde if they hope to acquire his signature in the summer.
