Fotospor report Wolverhampton Wanderers scouts are following the progress of highly rated Galatasaray youngster Atalay Babacan ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 18-year old attacking midfielder, who’s currently playing for the Turkish U18 national team has also been receiving attention from the likes of FC Porto, Lyon and Villarreal, says Fotospor.

Babacan scored three goals in five UEFA Youth League games this season and Fotospor claim Wolves scouts watched him during Turkey U18 games against Cyprus and Portugal.

This season the youngster has made two first-team appearances for Gala, both of those coming in the Turkish Cup. Babacan scored in one of those matches.

Galatasaray are looking to tie him down on a long-term deal to fend off interest from other clubs like Wolves, with his current contract set to expire in June 2020.

However, with clubs from the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1 showing an interest the Istanbul side will have to act quickly to get his contract extension sorted.
