Turkiye claim Fenerbahce are interested in signing Everton striker Cenk Tosun ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Turkiye, Fenerbahce have approached Everton via intermediaries and the Turkish club wants to land the 27-year old on a loan deal, with an option to buy.

It’s reported Everton will listen to offers for Tosun and they may allow him to leave the club in the summer. The attacker has struggled to get games under Marco Silva in the second half of this season and it seems he isn’t in the long-term plans of the Toffees boss.

The Turkish newspaper says Tosun is also open to returning to Turkey but Fenerbahce will have to beat local rivals Besiktas to secure his signature.

Last month we covered reports from Turkey which claimed Besiktas president Fikret Orman wants to bring back his former player and partner him with his international teammate Burak Yilmaz.

The Turkey international has scored three goals for Everton this season and is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2022.
