The Italian media are pretty much in unison. Patrick Cutrone doesn’t really want to leave AC Milan, but he’s going anyway and will be joining Wolves.

The striker has been with Milan since he was nine years of age, and his dream has always been to play a big part in the first team and help his club to success.

That’s now very unlikely to happen, and a poor season has seen Cutrone pushed towards the door with his club needing a cash injection.

Milan News report, from their own information, that Wolves will be doubling the player’s salary.

He’s set to earn ‘from €2m’ per year at the Premier League club, a salary which Milan News says will be after tax. They believe the player’s contract will likely last until June 2023.

Over at Tuttosport, it’s explained Wolves have been courting Cutrone ‘for some days’, making an effort to convince the 21 year old that it’s the right move for him.
