It seems Manchester City have a big and unexpected plan in case Leroy Sané really leaves the club to join Bayern Munich this summer.

As reported by Spanish outlet AS this Sunday afternoon, Pep Guardiola’s side are interested in signing Mike Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad.

It’s said the English club have already contacted his entourage, saying that in case he accepts their offer, they will trigger his release clause.

The amount paid at La Liga’s headquarters would be €75m, and that certainly shows the potential seen by Pep Guardiola in the player.

Real Sociedad are aware of Manchester City’s plans, and ‘it’s not ruled out’ they can meet the 22-year-old’s father to see if they could find another solution.

AS makes it clear it would be a big blow for Real Sociedad, since Oyarzabal is seen as a symbol of the present and the future at the club. But if the release clause is triggered, there’s nothing they can do about it.
