AC Milan forward Andre Silva has revealed his future is with the Serie A club despite his struggles in his first season in Italy.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were linked with the Portugal international in the last window, and reports this month resurfaced they could look to sign the player in the summer.
TMW have reported on comments he made about his future: “Going to Italy was the right step for my career and for my future, I’m working well but the road is still long.
“Football is different in every country, I still have to get used to it but I’m sure I’ll become a more complete player.”
During the last transfer window we covered reports linking Silva with a move to Wolves. There were claims in Italy that Wolves had tabled an offer for the 22 year old, which was rejected by AC Milan, although at the time we were sceptical about these reports.
Wolves pulled off the ambitious signing of Ruben Neves last summer, when the midfielder arrived at Molineux from FC Porto, but it seems they will miss out on Silva in the next window given his comments.
The Championship side look to be on course for promotion to the Premier League, and there should be some interesting business in the summer.
