West Ham United are willing to pay up to €45m this summer to finally get their hands on Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

That’s according to La Razón, who say the Hammers are facing competition from Juventus for the forward.

West Ham were heavily linked with a move for En-Nesyri throughout the January transfer window and, at one point, were said to have made a €40m bid.

Ultimately they never managed to get a deal done, with Sevilla resisting all efforts for the striker and preferring to keep him at the club until the summer at least.

Indeed, it was claimed that they believed he could increase his value between January and the end of the season and get themselves an even better deal at that point.

That now appears to be on the cards, with La Razón stating that they are not ‘ruling out’ striking a deal with one of En-Nesyri’s suitors.

At the moment, there are two at the table, Juventus and West Ham, who are ‘willing to pay up to €45m’ for him this summer.

Sevilla are more than aware of the interest and are already looking at potential replacements, hinting they think a move could happen at some point.

Such a deal would surely be dependant on both sides qualifying for the Champions League, with neither West Ham nor Juventus certain on that front quite yet.

Finishing in the top four would see the Hammers bring in a nice lump of money, which would open the door to a big move for En-Nesyri and the end of this long-running saga.
