For the past few months, reports coming out of the Italian media have stressed Fulham could be Ola Aina’s next destination. The Premier League side are now joined by West Ham United in the race to sign him in the summer window.

That’s according to BSNSports.com.ng from Nigeria, who state both Marco Silva’s side and the Hammers are ‘already eyeing’ the 26-year-old.

The wing-back will leave Torino when his deal with them expires on June 30th and both West Ham and Fulham ‘want’ to acquire his signature on a free transfer.

Fulham know the former Chelsea man well as he spent the 2020/21 season on loan with them. At Craven Cottage, he made 31 Premier League appearances, and was mainly used as a right-back and in the heart of the defence.

The Europa Conference League winners will now rival Silva’s side in their efforts to bring the Nigeria international back to England.

It’s said David Moyes hopes Aina can replace Nayef Aguerd, who reportedly wants to leave West Ham, a year after joining them.

Aina managed a goal and an assist from 21 games for Torino last season.
