Back in May, it was reported that West Ham United were interested in NK Osijek striker Dion Drena Beljo.

Croatian outlet claimed Vecernji that Hammers’ scout Steve Potts went to watch the young player, and at the time, it was said the auction would start from €6m, but the London side would actually be ‘ready’ to spend up to €10m.

That may have been the price for Beljo at the time, but it seems that if West Ham are still interested in the player, they could actually have him signed for a lot less than that.

Covering new reports from Croatia, Belgian outlet HLN today shows that Anderlecht are interested in the player as well, and the interesting news here is that the striker is now believed to have a €5m price tag.

Beljo already has seven goals and two assists for Osikej this season, so it’s no surprise to see more clubs getting interested in his signing.

Now if the Croatian side really only demand €5m, then West Ham could easily afford that, and perhaps make him a young alternative to Gianluca Scamacca, who has finally hit the ground running after his expensive transfer from Sassuolo in the summer.
