West Ham United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are in the picture to sign Real Betis’ William Carvalho in the summer window.

The 30-year-old has been a regular for the La Liga side this season, making 29 appearances in all competitions, managing three goals and two assists in the process. He has a contract until 2026.

Despite having a prominent role, Betis are looking to make him available in the market since they can no longer use Nabil Fekir to make cash after the Frenchman suffered a serious injury last month.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who state the Portugal international is on Betis’ transfer list. It’s further claimed West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle have set ‘their sights on signing’ the defensive midfielder in the summer. In addition to this, Fenerbahçe are also in the mix.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side must carry out exit operations to reduce their wage bill and this is why Carvalho is transferable. Therefore, he could have his ‘days numbered’ at the Spanish club.

For now, West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle have Carvalho on their agenda. There isn’t anything in the report to suggest where the Portuguese will play next season.
