As the end of the transfer window is just around the corner, it’s time for Kurt Zouma’s future to be sorted out one way or another.

A potential move to Sevilla, as part of a deal for Jules Kounde, didn’t really get off the ground, and now it’s thought he’s likelier to be staying in London.

That doesn’t necessarily mean the Frenchman will continue at Chelsea, with Julien Maynard, a journalist for TF1, saying there’s three London options: West Ham, Tottenham, or staying with the Blues.

Regarding a transfer, West Ham is the ‘most advanced track’ putting them in a likelier position than Tottenham. Discussions are said to be ongoing, and given a move within London wouldn’t involve the issue of international trips and quarantine, Zouma’s situation could be one which is left until the very end of the transfer window.

The 26-year-old has been on the bench for Thomas Tuchel’s side in both Premier League matches this season, failing to get on the pitch so far. He has a contract lasting until June 2023.
