According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu has a release clause in his contract.
The 23 year old has been strongly linked with West Bromwich Albion, with recent claims the Premier League side could come in with an offer this summer.
Milliyet have today reported Yokuslu is getting plenty of interest from other clubs due to his buyout clause. It’s claimed any club interested in signing the Turkey international can land him for just €7.5m.
Given the player’s form this season this seems a very modest transfer fee, and will give West Brom hope when trying to sign him in the next transfer window.
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that West Brom have stepped up their pursuit of Yokuslu by sending a scout to get a lowdown on him.
The English side were initially linked with the central midfielder in the last transfer window, and more recently it was reported West Brom could come in with an offer of €8m this summer, but it now seems they can offer less.
Any chance of signing Yokuslu is likely to depend on West Brom remaining in the Premier League, given the youngster is also getting attention from La Liga.
