AMKSpor claim Galatasaray are still interested in Napoli’s Ivan Strinic, who has also been linked with Watford in the past week.

The Turkish giants are looking to sign a left back to replace the under-performing Lionel Carole, and Strinic’s name has again been mentioned in the Turkish media.

Last week we covered reports from Italy that Watford are showing an interest in Strinic as Marco Silva looks for a left back to compete with Jose Holebas.

The Premier League side would likely be hoping they can sign Strinic on the cheap after already spending €50m+ in this window.

However, Watford could face competition from Galatasaray, who are still struggling to get a deal done for Juventus defender Kwadwo Asamoah.

With the deadline approaching the Turkish giants could look to switch their attention to Strinic after becoming frustrated in their attempts to sign Asamoah.

Both Galatasaray and Watford will now have to act quickly to sign the Croatia international, with just seven days left of the window remaining.
