Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu keeps working on his recovery so he can soon make his first appearance for the club this season.

As reported by Catalan outlet Sport today, the player has travelled to Barcelona so he can treat his groin injury.

The report claims that he wants to be cured ‘once for all’, after suffering some relapses lately. He hasn’t even been training with the squad, the article says.

Sport claims that both Deulofeu and Watford have already set a return date for him. They want him to be ready for the Premier League game against Arsenal, which will be played at the Emirates Stadium on September 29th.

After spending six months on loan at Watford, Deulofeu signed on a permanent deal for the Hornets in a €13m move from Barcelona this summer. He has one goal and one assist in seven appearances for the club so far.
