It seems Watford have just missed out on signing Emre Mor from Borussia Dortmund.
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport today, Inter Milan have found an agreement with the player, and the German club is now advised to accept their offer.
According to the newspaper, Inter will be paying €2m for the loan, with an option to buy the player at the end of the season for another €10m plus performance bonuses.
Mor’s agent met Inter Milan officials on Friday, and it’s claimed the player was on the radar of Watford, Roma and Fiorentina as well.
Recent reports from the Italian press have also linked the 20-year-old to Premier League sides Liverpool and Everton, but it’s Watford who Tuttosport say Inter have beaten.
The attacker spent only one season at Borussia Dortmund, bought from Danish side Nordsjælland last summer for €9.75m. He struggled to get enough game time at the Bundesliga club and made only 19 appearances last season.
