Chelsea forward Diego Costa continues living his summer dilemma.
The player has been set up to leave Chelsea all summer, but due to Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban running until January, he’s having a hard time deciding what to do.
Italian website Calcio Mercato have joined the claims that AC Milan would be interested in signing him, and his agent also likes the idea, but it’s been hard to convince the Brazilian.
Jorge Mendes wants Costa to find a new destination in the summer market, and has been advising the player to consider all the possibilities. Calcio Mercato say the agent is ‘working constantly’ to find a solution, but is coming up against the player.
Especially because there’s a World Cup coming right at the end of this season, and not playing for the first half of the campaign come harm his chances of taking part.
But the player’s strong personality is making things quite difficult. The outlet claims that as days go by, it’s becoming more unlikely for him to join the Italian side, as all he wants is to wait for five months and only then join Atletico Madrid.
Diego Costa’s personality has helped Chelsea on the pitch, and now it’s causing problems for them off it.
